Hnatyshyn TD Emerging Curator Project

The Hnatyshyn Foundation and TD Bank Group have partnered to present a new award which will support an emerging curator who has the determination and talent to contribute to the legacy of art in Canada.  The Emerging Curator of Contemporary Canadian Art will be awarded annually and is selected by a jury of art professionals from across Canada.

“Whether they are visual, digital, architectural or theatrical, at TD, we truly believe the arts play a critical role in our communities across the country,” said Frank McKenna, Deputy Chair, TD Bank Group. “That’s why we are thrilled to work with the Hnatyshyn Foundation to help recognize new and emerging curators who are dedicated to engage and educate communities about the importance of art in Canada.”

“The Hnatyshyn Foundation is privileged to offer this award in conjunction with TD and to continue to celebrate the accomplishments of young Canadians by investing in and supporting the development of world-class curators of tomorrow,” said Gerda Hnatyshyn, C.C., President and Chair of the Board of The Hnatyshyn Foundation.
