Masterworks From the Beaverbrook

TD Bank is proud to be the Presenting Sponsor of the Masterworks exhibition at Beaverbrook Art Gallery in Fredericton, New Brunswick.

The exhibition presents work culled from the most significant and valuable art collection in Atlantic Canada. Seminal works by European artists such as Thomas Gainsborough, Eugene Delacroix and William Turner, as well as Canadian artists Lawren Harris, Emily Carr and Cornelius Krieghoff, will be featured in this monumnetal exhibition. The collection represents the remarkable legacy of business tycoon Lord Beaverbrook (1879-1964), a great philanthropist and personal confidant of Sir Winston Churchill.

Masterworks from the Beaverbrook Art Gallery was organized in 2009 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the art gallery, and has since travelled throughout North America. Upon its return to Fredericton, the exhibition will once more be made available to the public from May 2nd until August 23, 2015.
